"What Counts"

Hey, guys. I got a cool idea earlier, and I'm gonna try it out. But first, here's a little poem that might serve as a good introduction.

What Counts

What counts is not what other people think,

but what you think.

The person who calls your video dumb doesn't count,

but what counts are the good memories.

The person who stares awkwardly at you when you greet your best friend doesn't count.

What counts are all the laughs you just remembered.

So basically, this is just talking about today's youth, and their stereotypical reactions to almost everything. Everyone does this kind of stuff. People do things that count, and people do things that don't count. You can't deny it! It's how we are these days. In fact, there are probably a lot of people who are about to do things that "don't count" because of this post. Whether I know or not, they probably will. And that's what doesn't count. It's like the saying "it's the thought that counts", there are some things that are truly valuable in life, and somethings that don't even matter. 

Now that I have explained the concept, here's the second part. I am going to post a YouTube video talking about all of this same stuff, and what you can do is comment on that video or post a video response talking about what counts for you, and what doesn't count for you. If I approve, it will be posted here. You can also comment on this blog post. I really want you guys to think about this, seriously. 

Disney Land

Paris here, again. Since Collin didn't say much, he is going to Disney Land next weekend. The people that I know that are reading this, I know this because I wanted Nicole to come to my play, but she can't because Disney Land. If your wondering why he is going to Disney Land, is because dance team is performing there. They actually perform there every year. All 4 years that I was on team, I performed there. So, I gotta go. Collin, when you are reading this, if I can ask a favor, please blog on my blog because I don't have anything interesting. Bye.

Nobody has any advantage over anyone else because of who is my best friend and whatever. It's completely fair.

DANCE CONTEST CHOREOGRAPHY POLICY

The policy is as follows:

The entire 30-60 must be all of your own choreography, and all choreographed. NO IMPROVISATION!!!!!!!! I can tell the difference between improv and choreography, and if I have any suspicions I will ask you to re-record your dance and post it again. You must meet the minimum requirements listed in the post below. Please be creative, and try to use the music as much as you can. What I mean by this, is, for example, when there's the little boom, hit a pose or something. Also, it would be really cool if you could come up with some kind of costume. It can be something from a dance at your studio or something, I don't really care. Just as long as your not in regular old, dumb boring dance clothes. I will post the scroring system after the first three entries.
